Presumably to wet our whistles for the forthcoming The Mercenaries 3D, Capcom have released a brand new Resident Evil game on the iTunes App Store.
Resident Evil Mercenaries VS. stars Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine and Albert Wesker, each with their own unique weapon loadout. As ever, the aim is to slaughter as many enemies as is humanly possible in the allotted time, either with bots, or online via Game Center.
The Mercenaries has become a staple of the Resident Evil series since it’s debut as an unlockable bonus game on Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Scroll down for screenage!
Resident Evil Mercenaries VS. is available via the iTunes App Store now, priced at £1.79 for a limited time. The Mercenaries 3D is due for a Japan release in June, exclusive to the 3DS.
