FINAL FANTASY III is available worldwide for the iPad, in glorious high-definition, from today!
The iPhone and iPod touch edition, released last month, was a huge graphical and technical improvement on the DS remake it was ported from. The iPad edition raises the bar even higher with gorgeous HD textures and character models, plus even tighter touch-screen controls.
In the space of four years, FFIII has gone from being one of the most obscure titles in the long-running RPG series, never-before-seen outside of Japan, to one of the most ported, now a huge success on Western shores.
FINAL FANTASY III, first released on the Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1990, is the first in the series to feature summon magic and the superb Job system, both seen in many later instalments.
