With just little under two weeks until we don our Trilby’s and embark on Rockstar’s most ambitious outing yet with the devilishly classy L.A Noire, the creators are throwing us one last bone by unleashing the game’s launch trailer today!
The period crime caper created by Team Bondi in conjucture with Rockstar Games places players in the role of Cole Phelp’s – an up and coming LAPD officer wading through the sleaze of 1940s Los Angeles, while looking to make ammends for the sins of his own past. With it’s stunning visuals, star-studded voice cast and remarkable eye for period detail, L.A Noire looks set to be another instant classic from Rockstar!
Yesterday it was teased that Microsoft are schedueling a ‘Rockstar-pass’ to coincide with the release of L.A Noire which is believed to be an online pass system not dissimilar to that instigated by EA, though at this stage nothing has been officially commented upon. According to CVG, the blurb on the release scheduel read: “In celebration of launch on May 17, take your L.A. Noire experience to the next level and download the ‘L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass’ add-on or deck your avatar out in L.A. Noire themed Avatar apparel – all available on Xbox LIVE.”
L.A Noire is due for release in the USA on May 17th, followed by an international release on May 20th for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Literally can’t wait for this game!!
