Battlefield 3 puts you in the boots of a US Marine, trying to keep the peace in the year 2014. While enlisted, you’ll be serving in locations including Paris, New York and Tehran. Alongside the urban warfare, you’ll be taking the fight to land, sea and air in a wide array of vehicles, including tanks and fighter jets. The multiplayer also returns in force, with the promise of 64 player support for the PC. All of this is done with breathtaking realism, thanks to the new innovative graphics engine, Frostbite 2.
For those of you who’ve been living under the bed for the last year or so, this is why you should be so excited.
Battlefield is slated for an Autumn release across multiple platforms, and if one game is going to knock Call of Duty off its high horse, it’ll be this. Stick with us at GGS for the latest.
