Eurogamer Expo 2011: Namco Bandai Bring Out The Big Guns

18 May, 2011

In what’s sure to be one of the most exciting exhibitions in the industry this year, Namco Bandai have placed their cards on the table – and it’s a ridiculously good hand. All of the games below are playable on the showroom floor for all visitors of the four day gaming bonanza, held in London this September.

The latest entries in two of the longest running franchises are being unveiled, as Ridge Racer Unbounded and Ace Combat: Assault Horizon lead the pack. Inversion, Namco’s ambitious gravity-defying shooter is also present for gamers to take for a spin, as is the spiritual succesor to Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls. As if this wasn’t enough to get us hot under the collar, there will also be a Tekken Tag Tournament 2 arcade machine on site for those looking to pummel their hands into a bloody, sweaty mess for the sake of beating the makers at their own game. Tekken fans can also expect much more out of their weekend, however, with the announcement that the Tekken Force Tournament Grand Final will be held during the exhibition.

Interested? Of course you are. You can get hold of tickets to the event over here, which is held between the 22nd and 25th of September. For those of you unable to get down to London however, GGS will be there in force to report back on the sights and sounds of the event, as well as bring you exclusive interviews and coverage from the developers on site. We’ll have full real time coverage of the event as it happens.
