The American leg of the world tour may be already under way, but there’s still time to register for the European legs of the Pokemon Videogame National Championships 2011. The competition is primed to be the fiercest yet, with the top eight in each event guaranteed a place in the World Championships this August.
As is always the case, players can only use the cartridges of the latest Pokemon games, so only Black and White players will be allowed to compete. In an exciting new twist, Nintendo have announced that only Pokemon native to Black and White, that is, entries 1-148 & 151 from the Unova Pokedex, can be used. Back to the drawing boards, competitors!
