The wait is finally over for European fans of The Sims 3; Generations, the game’s fourth expansion pack, is released on Windows and Mac today. To celebrate the game’s North American launch date earlier this week EA released a hilarious spoof trailer which combines The Hangover 2 and some of the best features from the expansion pack. With the release of Generations players will have further control over their Sims’ important milestones. Sims about to get married will have the option to throw stag and hen parties and the weddings themselves can be much more elaborate thanks to new items, outfits and actions such as the brand-new wedding arch. If you’re more of the sadistic type you can give your Sim a midlife crisis instead. Sims who are committed to a midlife crisis suffer a decline in their overall mood until their wish is fulfilled or it passes – although you can always send them to the hospital for some therapy.
