The big man himself, Reggie Fils-Aime, recently declared that 360 and PS3 footage was used to show off some of the games being released on Wii U. Reggie reminds us that this doesn’t matter as the Wii U will have the graphical capabilities of these current gen consoles anyway. Still seems a bit sneaky to slot the footage in with no prior warning though. In the interview with GameTrailers, Reggie assures us that the Wii U will be in 1080p and that since the console is still a year away it would have been very tricky getting Wii U footage of the games. He uses the ‘Garden’ demo, shown during the press conference, as an indication of what the Wii U is capable of. Naughty Nintendo.
