It appears that Robin is going to be a playable character (on two challenge maps) exclusively for people who have pre-ordered Batman: Arkham City from Best Buy. Which means if you’re like myself and live in a country that doesn’t actually have Best Buy, you may have to live without giving bad-guys a beat down with Batman’s young sidekick.
For now at least.
Regardless, it is interesting to see how Robin is going to be portrayed in the follow-up to Arkham Asylum. As in my mind he’s still the Wesley Crusher of the DC universe. But considering these games are leaning towards the darker side of the Batman mythos, I wouldn’t be surprised if this normally diminutive character kicks some serious ass this time around.
Here’s hoping for a later DLC release in the UK and Europe.
