After an interview with the Seattle Times, Mike Delmann, a Microsoft Executive, unveiled plans for Windows 8 to include aspects of Xbox Live! Without providing any examples or going into any further detail, Delmann discussed how ‘successful’ the integration between Windows Phone 7 and Xbox Live has been and sees this as a great launch-pad for Live to be involved with further Microsoft products.
When talking about compatibility with Windows 8, Delmann had this to say… ‘Live will be built into the PC. It will be the service where you get your entertainment.’
Windows 8 hasn’t received a launch date, however it is expected to be released sometime in 2012.
