In a year that’s already inundated with fantastic titles that have us stepping back into medieval times be it reality or not, another title steps forth to take up the challenge. Kylotonn’s The Cursed Crusade will feature the Templar knights getting down and dirty in the name of truth and justice. No, you won’t be killing them, although you will be in Constantinople. You will be playing as a Templar knight, and his name is Denz de Bayle.
Bayle has a very special condition. It has nothing to do with lepracy or the Plague. No, Bayle is the plague, and he’s got his sights set on those who dare cover up the truth. If you’re a fan of slicing and dicing with cool armor, swords, and a touch of historical beauty, then this title will be your greatest dream come true.
Initially reported as having a release date on July 26th in North America, the latest trailer released by publisher Atlus now has the release date set at October 11th, 2011. Well damn, it looks like October and November will become one of the most pocket-draining months ever, will it? Check out the trailer here, showing us just how Bayle gets things done:
