Humble Indie Bundle: Pay What You Want

Humble Indie Bundle: Pay What You Want

27 Jul, 2011

Love great games? Oh, you do? Great! How about charity, paying what you want, and choosing how your dollars are divided amongst recipients? If so, then you better head over to Humble Indie Bundle 3 pronto, where you can name your price and get five DRM-free, cross-platform indie games: Crayon Physics Deluxe, And Yet It Moves, Cogs, VVVVVV and Hammerfight.

Not only do you get to name your price, you get to choose how your IRL gold pieces are divvied up. Your options are to help fund the developers, give to Humble (who pays for the bandwidth and promotion of this fantastic bundle), or give your money to charity. Two charities are featured. The first, Child’s Play, was founded by the great guys over at Penny Arcade and sends toys, games and books to children’s hospitals all over the world. The second charity, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, is a digital rights advocacy group aimed at protecting rights in the realm of computing and telecommunications technology.

Humble has already raised over one million dollars for charity with their bundles. And with the help of generous contributors who have paid up to $3,000 for the bundle, Humble is on its way towards the goal of raising “a bajillion dollars.”
