Announced towards the beginning of last month, Rockstar Games is keeping up with its promises of free DLC content. Today, the gaming studio released news of the Myths & Mavericks DLC pack for Red Dead Redemption, and it won’t cost gun-slingers a dime. That’s right, Rockstar Games decided to appreciate fans’ continued support of the western action game by giving us free stuff.
The Myths & Mavericks DLC pack will be giving us new playable characters and new maps in multiplayer modes. Amongst the new characters is Langdon Ricketts, the fabled marksman whom Marston seeks out during his quest to find Bill Williamson. New locations will be available for Deathmatch, Grab the Bag, Gang matches, and other modes, but details weren’t forthcoming. Rockstar has also said that an update will be released to fix settings on the Undead Overrun multiplayer mode.
A definite date was not given, but Rockstar has said that the DLC pack will be available on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network sometime in September.
