The last time anyone ever thought of the words ‘zombies’ and ‘moon’ in the same sentence was probably when they talked about Michael Jackson. Call of Duty: Black Ops is just about the farthest thing on anyone’s mind when they thought of that particular word combination. With the announcement of the Resurrection DLC for Black Ops though, that’s looking to change.
Gamers are going to be going lunar with this one, and we’re not talking about crazy. You’re literally going to the moon, as Resurrection is sending you into orbit to take on zombies in a low-G battlefield with rocks, dust, and more rocks.
The Resurrection pack will also include four re-mastered Zombie levels: the Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, and Der Riese, the Zombie factory. If you’re a die hard fan that previously bought the Black Ops: Hardened or Prestige Editions, you can expect to grab Resurrection for free. However, for the rest of us, Resurrection is going to cost a pretty penny at 1200 Microsoft Points.
As with previous Black Ops DLC, Resurrection will be released as an Xbox 360 exclusive on August 23rd before becoming available on the PlayStation Network and PC at a later date.
