Final Fantasy Tactics hit the original PlayStation in Japan over a decade ago, and found a huge audience for the title with its well designed tactical combat. It was reintroduced to the public in 2007 under a new name, Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for PSP, and added several new features that brought the title into the modern era.
Now, Square Enix has taken Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, and brought it over to the new hotness in mobile gaming, the iOS platform. Starting today, you can find Tactics on your iPhone, iPad and iTouch, with new and improved features for the new platform. The game has been fully incorporated to work with touch screen controls, and the new, high resolution graphics make this the best looking version of the title to hit a gaming platform.
Square Enix also decided to celebrate the new release of Final Fantasy Tactics on the iOS platform with a sale on all of its other iOS title, with the discounts covering such titles as Chaos Rings, Crystal Defenders and Final Fantasy I and II.
