Xboxers aren’t feeling the love this time around, and neither are casual PlayStation Network members. Ubisoft announced earlier today that the eagerly awaited Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will be opening up their multiplayer beta experience to PlayStation Plus and Uplay members only. You saw that right. If you don’t have a PlayStation Plus or Uplay account, then you are just out of luck.
From September 3rd until September 11th, the lucky players who meet the above criteria will be given a chance to sharpen their hidden blades. Access will be offered to nine characters total: the Sentinel, Vanguard, Guardian, Vizier, Thespian, Deacon, Bombardier, Trickster, and the Champion. Three maps will be made available: The Knight’s Hospital, Antioch, and the crowning jewel Constantinople. Four modes will be available: Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch, and Artifact Assault.
No confirmation has been made on whether other fans will have a chance to get in on the beta, but we’re hoping that it will open later.
Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is set to strike on November 15th.
