We’re all familiar with Altair and Ezio leaping from the top of impossibly high towers into hay carts. We’re also familiar with sneaking around at night, picking fights with guards and occasionally dragging them off rooftops. Sometimes, shooting them in the face is most satisfactory as well, thanks to da Vinci.
How many of us are familiar with all of the comic books and other media that have been born from this beloved franchise? Since it’s debut in 2007, the very first Assassin’s Creed game featured the stoic and stubborn Altair and was also our first glimpse into what the Pieces of Eden were. The rest is, as they say, history.
With Assassin’s Creed: Revelations sneaking onto the scene in mid-November, Ubisoft today released a trailer entitled “Assassin’s Creed Universe,” which celebrates all things Creed related. Did you know that there have been four comic books published for the series, and two short films have been made? One of these is Embers, set to be released in the Collector’s and Animus Editions of Revelations.
With the Assassin’s Creed Universe trailer, Ubisoft puts everything into chronological order, of course ending with Revelations. Watch it here:
Nothing is true and everything is permitted. Journey to Constantinople with Ezio on November 15th in Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.
