Aye, It Be a New Risen 2 Teaser on the Horizon

When Risen came out in 2009, it offered up a new universe for developer Piranha Bytes, which had left the Gothic series behind. It was a bit rough, but it offered up the same sort of mature, hardcore RPG experience that fans had come to expect from this developer.

Now they are hard at work on Risen 2, but they have taken the series in a new direction, where you will play as a pirate, sailing the high seas, where you will plunder, raid and cause all kinds of mayhem, all in the name of the pirate flag. Did I mention that you get a cannon that can shoot parrots. Well, you won’t see that in the trailer we have provided, but I have word that it is in Risen 2, easily making this title a must have.
