OnLive is Set for a UK Launch in September 2011

11 Aug, 2011

OnLive, the company that is making a name for itself by streaming games to its subscribers in the US, is readying a launch in the United Kingdom starting on September 22nd. 2011 on Mac, PC and tablets.

The September 22nd, launch will bring the ability to watch others play, make brag clips to capture some great or funny moments and access to free demos for any game on the service, without any installs and minimal load times. OnLive will also offer up full Facebook integration, allowing players to upload brag clips to the service automatically.

I have waxed poetic about the service in the past, so I am not going to bore people with that discussion again, but it is safe to say that the OnLive service does work, they offer up some great deals, and it allows you to play all current games, day and date as their retail counterparts, regardless of the specs on your current Mac or PC. You do need a solid Internet connection, but you can try the service for free to see if it is right for you.

To sign up, head over to www.onlive.co.uk and set up your account so you are ready for the September 2011 launch.
