One of the concepts that the Deus Ex Human Revolution developers had to come up with was the idea of blending sound and music in a universe where the player chooses how to play the game. It would not be practical for a blaring rock tune to belt out of your speakers if you were playing in a stealthy manner. In the newest documentary for Deus Ex Human Revolution, the developers talk about the challenges behind creating sound for this very unique concept where the player has multiple paths to complete an objective. It is also interesting to see the concepts that Eidos Montreal came up with when it comes to music in general, as they did not want to be too electronic, but they never wanted it to feel like a current music styles.
Check out the new documentary below. Deus Ex Human Revolution is finishing its victory lap and is set for a August 23rd, 2011 release date for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 from Square Enix and Eidos Montreal.
