2K Games has announced their lineup for PAX Prime and it should be one of the places on your must visit list. the 2K Games booth will feature the first public viewing of their recently announced sequel, Borderlands 2, the unfortunately delayed Darkness II and more info and footage from the reimagined classic XCOM.
Also, Gearbox will be hosting two panels at PAX Prime this year. The first, “Video Games and Comics: A Natural Partnership?”, will feature people from TopCow, Digital Extremes and more as they discuss migrating The Darkness from a comic to a living and breathing video game. The other panel, “Inside Gearbox Software”, will have several people from Gearbox Software talking about Borderlands 2, Duke Nukem Forever and more and there will be pizza at that panel.
This makes me a bit sad that I will not be at PAX Prime, as a Seattle trip is out of my budget this year, but I do recommend it for anyone that can make it. It is a convention for the fans, and there are tons of gaming related things always happening there.
