Watching the latest trailer from Gamescom for Lollipop Chainsaw, I could of had a checklist of items that Grasshopper Manufacture felt were required to catch attention of fans not familiar with the new IP. Zombies – check. Hot Female Lead – check. Giant Chainsaw Gun – check. Glimpses of breasts and panties – Check.
Lollipop Chainsaw seems to be what happens when a writer is channeling Buffy the Vampire Slayer, while watching Cinemax soft core porn late at night, while on one hell of a bender. It follows in the vein of other over the top titles like Bayonetta, or Bullet Witch. And why do I feel so dirty when I say I want to play this insanity of a game.
Check out the full trailer below. Lollipop Chainsaw comes from the creative minds of Suda51 and James Gunn and is developed by Grasshopper Manufacture presumably for Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2012.
