Epic Games has 5 New Games Under Development, Shows the Love for PCs

Don’t think Epic has left PCs in the dust. Since its first Unreal Tournament title back in the day, Epic has gone upwards and onwards to even more Unreal Tournaments and Gears of War. It might feel like they’ve shunned computer gamers, but that’s going to change soon.

During a Gamescom presentation, Epic Games’ head honcho Mike Capps said that the studio is currently working on five games, and computers will be a key player in the future. “It’s nice to target the PC as a primary platform again, not just for ports,” he said during his presentation. Obviously no further explanation was given, but it’s something to set computer gamers’ hearts a-flutter.

The five games will not all be for the PC, and they won’t be huge block-busting budget titles. The team hasn’t grown to huge proportions either, which indicates that the games will probably be fairly small affairs. Capps also dropped little hints that Epic may be looking to enter the free-to-play market.
