With all of the Street Fighter and Tekken remakes, releases, and fighting game frenzy, it was simply a matter of time before Soul Calibur joined in the fun. First announced back in May, little else has come forth about the next installment in this medieval-themed fighting game other than a competition to “Name That Character.”
With Gamescom in full swing, Namco Bandai has tossed soul-hungry fans a bone with a new trailer. Featuring glimpses of flashy fighting, swords, and dramatic narrations about being the last soul standing, we can safely say that yes, this is definitely another Soul Calibur after the hardcore fan’s heart.
