When Atlus decided to re-release Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked for Nintendo’s new 3DS platform, it had to have a hook for people to either pick it up that missed it the first time, or to pick it up again on the new platform. Beyond some of the extra trappings that Atlus normally offers like a soundtrack and more, this new release will also include a new chapter that was not available in the original title. Yes, the much rumored 8th Day chapter is now coming to the 3DS version of this title, and we have a trailer for it below.
And yes, it will seem as confusing as most Atlus titles when viewed out of context, but many people have enjoyed the first title when it came to the DS, and adding a new chapter should be a fair enough deal to get people to return to the title for a second time.
