In a partnership between 343 Industries and IGN, the first-ever Halo Fest is about to take place at PAX Prime in Seattle this coming weekend. Not only will the gray, rainy skies be a home to this celebration of all things Master Chief and Covenant, but it will also be just a big huge group-hug celebration of the handing over of Bungie’s prize baby to 343i.
Don’t worry, 343i has proven that they know what they’re doing. With everything from a remastered soundtrack for Halo: CE to the announcement of Halo 4, 343i has already shown that it’s ready to take the reins from Bungie and show fans that they’re just as dedicated to Halo as even the most hardcore Spartan.
Check out the Halo Fest trailer released earlier today by IGN. It’ll make “even the most stalwart Spartans among you shed a manly man tear.” So go ahead, grab that box of tissues and watch it:
