The glitzy glam of game demo and line-up announcements continue as Ubisoft becomes the latest to show off their star-studded entourage. Of course we’re all dying to see Assassin’s Creed: Revelations this November, and Ubisoft won’t be snubbing the Northwest either. They’re just coming back from Gamescom, but they still have plenty to show.
This year marks Ubisoft’s largest presence at PAX to date, and they are pulling out all the stops. They’re opening it up Friday evening with an exclusive Assassin’s Creed panel at The Paramount, located a few blocks away from the Washington State Convention & Trade Center. There will be a live on-stage demo during the panel, and fans will be the first to see new gameplay of the single-player campaign. Oh yeah, and we’ll also get a special performance from YouTube celebrity Tobuscus and his “Literal Assassin’s Creed Revelations Trailer.” Throw in a couple of drinks, and it’s going to be one party Friday night.
There’s going to be 4 booths dedicated to Ubi’s presence, and they’ll have a slew of games to pick and play from. While Revelations may be at the top of many of our lists, we’ll also get a chance to touch Might & Magic Heroes VI, Rayman Origins, Shoot Many Robots, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier, to name a few.
If you’re going to the show and have the dough on you, Ubisoft is also announcing some incentives for those who want to pre-order games during the show. Here’s a list of the pre-order swag:
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier: Exclusive PAX gun skin
- Assassin’s Creed Revelations: Altair avatar
- Just Dance 3: Neon watch
- Rayman Origins: Rayman t-shirt
- Rocksmith: Exclusive guitar strap
Can’t make it to PAX and wishing you were there? It’s okay, hang on for the ride with GGS Gamer — we’ve got you covered.
