Rise of Nightmares has been hitting with a new advertising campaign, playing up the idea that it is not your ordinary Kinect title. First we had the Redband Trailer that played up the over the top violence. Then we had the Granny trailer that had Grandma letting loose with all kinds of expletives while chastising her grandchildren for playing baby Kinect games. And now we have a new trailer that has you thinking people are upset with the game, only to find joy in their expressions as they lay waste to enemies in Rise of Nightmares.
While it will be interesting to see how Rise of Nightmares does at the register, I at least applaud Sega for trying something new and different when it comes to marketing a Kinect title. They are using the generic nature of the games currently out to play up their unique style of game.
Check out the new trailer below. Rise of Nightmares drops exclusively for Xbox 360 Kinect on September 6th (September 9th in Europe) from Sega.
