Finally, a shift in the United States’ gaming charts. Nintendo has been dethroned as the driving force behind sales this last week as Square Enix’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution stormed onto the scene. It’s no wonder, as the highly anticipated stealth-action-shooter has garnered some of the best scores in recent memory. Speaking of which, have you read Joe’s review?
Not to be outdone, Deus Ex had some backup in the Top 10 with Black Ops coming in at #6. The debut week for SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked didn’t have the best numbers, but what do you expect releasing alongside a triple-A title like Deus Ex?
It’s just the beginning of a long release season, and we’re already off to a great start. Thank you Square Enix.
