Zombie Studios hit the scene a few years back with Blacklight Tango Down on PC and Xbox 360. While the title was ambitious, it did not resonate well with fans. Add in rampant online hacking and you have a shooter that is not played by many people to date.
However, the property is getting a new lease on life with Blacklight Retribution, and it is going completely free to play with new publisher, Perfect World. I talked to several people at E3 that thought Blacklight Retribution was going to be a quiet hit with the FPS crowd, and now, we get fan raction from PAX on this new title, and it all seems very positive.
