Sony have recently announced that particular features of PSN will be down tonight between 5pm and 11pm (GMT) for scheduled maintenance.
Those already connected to the network will be unaffected by the downtime, but will still be unable to access:
* PlayStation Store
* Account Registration
* Account Management
Those who sign in during the down time will be met with a maintenance notification page.
The maintenance comes in the wake of the appointment of a former Director of the US National Cyber Defence Centre, Philip Reitinger. Whether or not the update is the first of many attempts to bolster security is unknown. As always, stay with GGS for the latest.
