It’s going to be a tough choice this year as heavy hitters L.A. Noire, Portal 2, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Halo: Reach join more illustrious names in the battle for supremacy. Yeah, that time of the year is here again: the Golden Joysticks shortlist has been released for Gamesmaster’s 29th Annual Awards. The grand ceremony will take place October 21st at the Westminister Bridge Park Plaza.
The supreme ruler of all things epic will be decided by the public, just like in previous years. You can head over to http://www.goldenjoysticks.com to vote for your favorite game across 14 different categories. Of course, Mass Effect 2 set the benchmark after winning the grand prize in 2010.
This year also marks the inaugural year for three new categories: free-to-play, mobile, and downloadable games. Voters who take the time to go through all 14 categories will be entered into a contest to win an Alienware gaming laptop.
