It’s been a long time coming. Since it’s initial announcement back in 2008, fans of Blizzard and the Diablo series have been dying to get their hands on this piece. The wait may soon be over.
In a statement to VG247, Blizzard said that it is “very close” to starting the public beta on Diablo III, their highly anticipated dungeon crawler. “We’re getting very close to starting the closed public beta test for Diablo III,” said Blizzard.
Current beta testing has been confined only to limited employees and their family members, said Blizzard, and it’s not confidential. Those that have current access to the beta test are “free to show, share, or talk about any portion of the beta content to which you have access, as this beta test is not confidential.”
Well fans, it’s time to start looking forwards for that beta sign up. Will you be one of the many to conquer Diablo‘s dungeons?
No release date has been announced for Diablo III yet, but Blizzard had better get on top of it. Especially since the initial announcement is now moving towards being four years old.
