Rock Band 3 throws up four new tracks for those that love to get their groove on with plastic instruments this week. The first mention goes to Janis Joplin and the Full Tilt Boogie Band and their 1970 hit, “Me and Bobby McGee” This classic title was one of the last from Janis Joplin and was the second hit to hit #1 on the Billboard chart posthumously.
It’s hard to follow up Joplin, but Harmonix also has a new three pack from alternative rockers Weezer with, “Hash Pipe”, “Island in the Sun” and “Pefect Situation”. Pro guitar tracks are also available for “Hash Pipe” for an extra cost.
The Weezer Pack can be had for 440 MS Points, 550 Wii Points or $5.49 depending on platform. Each individial track can be had for 160 MS Points, 200 Wii Points or $1.99 depending on platform. These tracks will be available for download on Tuesday, September 13th, 2011.
