Mr. Peanut Gets Demonic in a Silent Hill Downpour Trailer Never Meant for Release
Perhaps a bit of a blunder, but a year-old trailer for Silent Hill: Downpour started making its rounds earlier today. Originally released by GameStop Canada (who said the trailer was supposedly the latest and greatest), Downpour‘s producer has since said that the trailer in question is “over a year old and was never meant for release.”
During the trailer, certain sections contain code information displayed in the corners, and some lip syncing issues arise as well. Of course, the small words “Work in Progress” should have been a dead give away as well.
Fans of Silent Hill probably won’t mind though, as we catch a glimpse of a demonic entity with a giant car for an arm confronts Murphy. Oh yeah, and he’s got a monocle too. No top hat or a cane though. Bummer.
Take a gander at the trailer:
Silent Hill: Downpour is slated for a release in October 2011 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
