Square Enix Announces Army of Hell for PS Vita

Square Enix Announces Army of Hell for PS Vita

14 Sep, 2011

Although Square Enix is mostly known for the likes of blockbusters like Final Fantasy and publishing hits like Deus Ex: Human Revolution, we rarely would think of something demonic connected with this publishing and developer studio. It was only a few days ago that the studio launched a teaser site that said the newest game was a brand new title for Hell.

Wonder no more. This week’s issue of Famitsu, a Japanese video gaming magazine, says that Army of Hell, also known as Army Corps of Hell will be a PS Vita launch title published by Square Enix.

According to the magazine, the game will play very similarly to the Monster Hunter games by rival company Capcom. It will also support 4-player modes, and take place in environments inspired by the Underworld and, well, Hell. Square Enix, however, will not be involved in the development of this game. Instead, Enter Sphere will be doing dev duties, and Square Enix is only involved as the publisher of the project.
