Gamers will probably be satiated on everything fantasy RPG themed, but that’s not stopping Capcom from taking a stab at the fan-favorite genre. With their upcoming Dragon’s Dogma looking to be combat-centric, Capcom is aiming high to stand apart from the rest of the crowd in 2012.
With the Tokyo Game Show in full swing kicked off by Nintendo’s massive pre-TGS announcements, Capcom brought its own big announcements with a trailer of Dragon’s Dogma, and it shows off the combat mechanics in question.
With everything from the fabled Dragon itself to Griffons, Chimera, Wyrms, Trolls, and every other mythological being, this trailer doesn’t skimp on the creatures or the action. Watch the trailer and see just how stylish killing an orc can be. Maybe this guy took some pointers from Legolas?
Dragon’s Dogma will be releasing in 2012 for the Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
