So the first thing I had to think to myself when I got this press release was, “Blockbuster is still a thing?” Yes, Blockbuster apparently does still exist, and they have a pretty decent deal for those that may not have picked up Gears of War 3 as of yet.
If you pick up Gears of War 3 new from Blockbuster, they will give you a full month of unlimited game and video rentals for a month. The game purchase will come with a pass that will get you your free rentals. Not sure if this is a big enough lure to get people into a Blockbuster, but if you have not picked up Gears 3 as of yet, it might be the place to go to get the game and a nice freebie.
