As if owning this game on your Wii, SNES, DS, or PsOne wasn’t enough, Square Enix earlier today announced that they will be making the beloved RPG Chrono Trigger available on iOS and Android devices. Say goodbye to long boring commutes, because now you really have no excuse to kill Lavos while on your way to your day job.
This announcement comes as part of Square Enix’s plan to push itself onto the mobile market with the “Square Enix Market” initiative. Sounds like they’re getting down to business with the use of such officious words.
Alongside Chrono Trigger, Square has also confirmed that there will be more ports arriving for the Android and iOS systems. Among these are Final Fantasy Legends, Itadaki Street, and Dragon Quest Monsters.
