Things always seem to get so messy for Mutants in the Marvel universe. Humans tend to hate them because they are different, and just when they think things like that might be over, a plague or M-Day comes along and heaps more onto their plate. X-Men Destiny picks up during current events in the Marvel Universe, offering up choice as its main hook for new players.
X-Men Destiny has you choosing one of three new mutants, and with every mission, you are making decisions and choices that mold the idea of whether your mutant will join the heroes of the X-Men or the evil Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Choices will come often and will never be all that easy to make and you are bound to piss somebody off.
Now I want this game to be good, I really do, but I am a bit worried after its lackluster showing at E3 earlier this year. It has the ability to do something different with the universe and you do get to interact with a ton of recognizable mutants from the Marvel comics. Check out the new launch trailer below and see if it is something you might be interested in.
X-Men Destiny is out for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and Nintendo 3DS.
