It’s a remembrance of gaming from bygone days. Metroid II: Return of Samus brings many a fond memory back to anyone who owned a Gameboy Adventure and played this game. If you wanted a trip down Memory Lane, then your dreams have come true.
According to Siliconera, the retro game will be releasing on the 3DS Virtual Console in Japan as early as September 27th. While Nintendo’s own eShop hasn’t updated to reflect the upcoming game, a search within the Nintendo World Report found the game release date and also the price of 400 yen in Japan.
“Metroid II is expected to hit other regions before the end of the year,” added NWR.
