Console fans need not worry, but you better keep your friends hoping to buy the game on Steam away from spoilers. Today, Ubisoft sent word that the PC version of Assassin’s Creed Revelations will be delayed for about a month.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations will launch on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 15th and PC in December,” said the official statement sent to Joystiq.

We hope that it won’t be long for the sake of your sanity and also your holiday shopping. In the meantime, check out the extended trailer one more time.

  1. Pretty much par the course for Ubisoft. Say everything is coming out the same day and then at the last moment, change the PC date to a month or three later, allowing them to maximize the console sales.

I would rather see them just kill the PC version. This is what they are trying to do, so why hide behind a stupid statement of, “optimization” and just admit that it is a stall tactic to try and funnel more sales into the console channel.

From Dust was delayed at the last moment, along with Call of Juarez: The Cartel and Driver San Francisco. To be honest, I cannot remember the last time a multiplatform title released for the PC on the same day as its console counterparts from Ubisoft.
