As a surprise announcement for the day, 2K Sports has announced that the consoles and PC will not be the only ones getting some basketball on October 4th, 2011. We now have some screens to go along with the announcement that NBA 2K12 will also hit iOS devices coming tomorrow as well. The iOS version of NBA 2K12 will come in two flavors, with a version for iPod and iPhone for $4.99, while a graphically souped up version will hit the iPad for $9.99.
This is not a simple basketball mini-game collection either, as it is a full representation of NBA 2K12 for these mobile devices. You will have access to the full game, the Jordan Challenge and more. Controls can be configured for one finger motion control, or a more traditional virtual D-pad with buttons.
Check out the screens from this new version of NBA 2K12 on the iOS devices. The NBA 2K12 game will hit the app store on October 4th, 2011 at the two point price structure listed above.
