Square Enix announced a three pack of pre-order incentives depending on the retail option of your choice. Right now, I honestly like the Best Buy option out of the three, but I guess that comes from me enjoying extended fiction for a game.
If you purchase at GameStop, you will get a new costume for Serah that is viewable throughout the game, including in any cut scenes. Amazon preorders will net the Omega Boss Arena, where you will fight Omega and he will join your party if you defeat him. Finally, Best Buy preorders will score a hardbound novel that will tie together the events of Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2.
Now the decision for you is to figure out whether you actually want more Final Fantasy XIII and if so which bonus makes sense for you.
