Starting on October 18th, and ending on November 1st, gamers who own an Xbox 360 or a PS3 will get a limited chance to try out a demo for Need for Speed The Run. The demo will feature two cars, a Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni, while a 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S will only unlock after referring a friend to the demo.
The demo will include two races from the game: one that travels through the Desert Hills area of California and the other in Independence Pass of Colorado.
I am still a bit unclear why this is a limited time demo. Why is it that a demo is only available for about two weeks, only to disappear into the ether? Also, where is the PC demo EA? Oh well, at least the demo will support the highly addictive Autolog, letting you and your friends push each other for the best scores in the demo.
