Delta Squad keeps bringing on the hits as Gears of War 3 continues to dominate the charts in the U.S. last week. Incoming soccer phenom FIFA Soccer ’12 scores against Dead Island as the zombie holiday-nightmare drops from #2 spot down to #6.
Team ICO’s Shadows of the Colossus HD collection makes a huge splash as it debuts at #4, and X-Men: Destiny makes the numbers run its way, debuting at the #5 spot. How it was able to do that is completely beyond Joe’s belief, but you can spare yourself a couple of dollars if you read our review on X-Men: Destiny. You’ll save your sanity, too.
Nintendo still maintains a strong presence within the Top 20, as Mario Kart Wii, Wii Sports Resort, and Zumba Fitness keep the Wii relevant in a release season dominated by triple-A powerhouse titles. To keep the cute and fuzzy company, Adam Jensen is still hanging on to #17 as Deus Ex: Human Revolution enters its 6th week of sales. Give him a break and bring him back up into the Top 10 — maybe he won’t perform that lethal takedown through a wall on accident anymore.
