Blockbuster might have found a new plan to keep them from losing all semblance of being relevant in the rental industry, and it seems games are involved in that plan. Last month, Blockbuster announced a deal where you could get a month’s worth of free rentals with a purchase of Gears of War 3 from the retailer. The venture must have been fairly successful as they are doing it again, this time partnering up with the Caped Crusader.
If you decide to purchase your copy of Batman: Arkham City from Blockbuster, you will again be greeted with a rental card that will give you one month’s worth of free rentals from the retail chain. It is an interesting deal to be certain, because depending on your movie rental frequency, you could get a fair amount of use out of this promotion for a game you were going to buy anyway.
