Inevitable, you may well say. The PC version of Battlefield 3, arguably the biggest release of this holiday season, has already been uploaded to torrent sites. The build, of unknown origin, is a .iso file of a Russian copy of the game, weighing in at 9.96GB. It has been confirmed to contain only the single player portion of the game – although it is yet unknown as to whether it managed to bypass the Origin DRM functions put in place by EA.
This upload comes 12 days before the games official release date on October the 28th. As of yet, there has been no official announcement from DICE or EA. We cannot stress this enough – piracy is not condonable under any circumstance. Wait for the real thing folks. It won’t disappoint.
