It was a very close week – so close that Forza Motorsport 4 had to break sales records to take the number one spot from FIFA 12. The game enjoyed the most successful first week ever for a 360 racing game in the United Kingdom.
Just Dance 3 has entered the charts at number three – despite almost all of its sales being on the Wii, it still managed to outclass Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 which only managed to secure fifth place. Bethesda’s Rage sits between them at number four, down two places from last week.
The other new entry to (just) make the Top 10 was Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge. Fellow new entries Ace Combat: Assault Horizon (number twelve), Dead Rising 2: off the Record (number fourteen) and Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure (number sixteen) didn’t do too badly considering what they’re currently up against.
Batman: Arkham City is widely expected to make number one next week, and it will be interesting to see where Football Manager 2012, The Sims 3: Pets and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One place.
