While some could argue that the Xbox 360 is showing its age, others are still enjoying the current console from Microsoft. However, the next generation is already looming in the distance, as earlier this week Develop reported that Microsoft and their partners are beginning to work towards a 2013 launch date for their next Xbox model.
According to Develop’s report, sources from processor chip manufacturers to middleware firms have said that an announcement should be expected during E3 festivities in 2013. While these sources expect a late 2013 Holiday release window, 2014 sounds more like a possibility.
Develop also reports that Lionhead is already hard at work on the next Fable title for the console.
